trades/sales
I began trading on Twitter so that's where my proofs started & will stay -- especially after people were having issues with IG story/highlight proofs missing for a while, I don't really want to mess with that. On the other hand, my IG posts are mostly for cataloging & insurance purposes, although I've found updating wishlists via stories/highlights far easier and less messy than Twitter threads so that's more likely to be up-to-date.
When trading/selling, I will share with you:
initial picture(s) including my username
video(s) detailing item(s) condition
pictures/video during packing process, including greeting card with both our usernames
confirmation picture of your address
mailing proof video of envelope/package being dropped off in a locked mailbox AND/OR tracking number
Packing
Photocards are sleeved -- usually double sleeved if I have the correct sizes to do so -- and stored in a toploader
If only photocards are being sent, then toploader will be washi taped to the inside of a greeting card
Oversized photocards, postcards, or other small paper items will be bagged and washi taped between sturdy cardboard to prevent bending
Other items will be bagged, then wrapped in bubble wrap -- usually 2+ layers
To prevent damage from tape, I generally only use washi tape for anything going inside an envelope or package; regular tape may be used if necessary to secure outer layers of bubble wrap & will never be in direct contact with your item(s)
I will confirm that you are satisfied with my packing job before sealing the package
I will try to make your package/item(s) as secure as possible & I hope that if we are trading, you will do the same. Once it's shipped, however, it's out of our hands and in the care of the postal system so I will not hold you responsible for any lost mail or damages after that point and neither will I be responsible for damages after shipping or lost mail.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I'm always happy to answer questions, provide more information, or do anything else to prove that it's me across any of my accounts.
